Those Little Mini Donuts!
The Calgary Stampede has always been associated with family for me. I can remember from a young age going to the grounds with my family to watch the Super Dogs, play games on the Midway and eat mini donuts.
We would attend Stampede pancake breakfasts in our community and have fun dressing up western. Even now as an adult, my family and I spend time together celebrating the Stampede each year. We attend concerts, shop for the latest gadgets and of course eat mini donuts. Some of my favorite memories have been going to see Bon Jovi with my Mom and making a special trip just to try multiple new deep fried and sugar coated treats with my brother. I cherish the traditions that the Stampede has created for my family. I look forward to continuing to create family memories at the Stampede for many years to come.
The picture I have included is from 1991. It is of my brother, sister and I with our Grandpa who came to visit from Montana.
