The “Calettes”

My favourite memory of the Calgary Stampede is riding in a stage coach in the 1965 Stampede Parade.

We were invited to participate as members of the Calgary Stampeders half-time dance team called the Calettes. This was such an honour and was so much fun. 

I am proud to say that I have only missed one Stampede since I was five years old!
