Our First Date in 1980

The Rodeo was our first date
We cheered along with yee haw hoots
He held my hand and sealed our fate

This was a first date that resulted in wedding bells in 1983.  My husband, David, left Calgary to serve our Country and we have finally returned to Calgary to settle down permanently.  Our first Stampede back we celebrated with a day at the Rodeo!  Our oldest daughter has taken the Stampede tradition one step further by being a member in the Band of Outriders, a Calgary Stampede Band.
